Description

Dear all,

I have a project which will permit take control of a Lego Mindstorms NXT2 over bluetooth. I would like control it by the way of an USB Joystick, which will send the command through bluetooth.

The goal is taking the control of the three NXT motors using "vrjoystick" in Matlab or Simulink (Better).

I don't know hot to do it.

Could you help me to solve this big problem ?

Thank you for your help and support.

Kind regards,

Christophe Herault

Dear Christophe,

this problem is not related to our NXT toolbox. You can use the functions to control the motors, no problem. You have to find out how to use a joystick as input device from MATLAB yourself or somewhere else. If you have specific questions about NXT-related things or our toolbox, feel free to create a new ticket.

If you want to use a Wii remote from Nintendo, I can really recommend this free MATLAB toolbox to you: WiiLab,  http://netscale.cse.nd.edu/twiki/bin/view/Edu/WiiMote . You could easily combine it with our toolbox to control an NXT.

Regards, Linus
